Best part about conferences is seeing all of my past (official and unofficial) mentees becoming such incredible independent scientists! Feel lucky to have worked with each of you and so happy to see your successes. The future of psychiatry research is bright! 🥰 #SOBP2024

An amazing interview weekend at @Stanford. Everyone was incredible and the programs they end up at will be very lucky! Particularly impressed by those who traveled across to make it through the interview circuit, and return to work on Monday! #AcademicTwitter #phdlife #gradschool

@npp_journal @ACNPorg Andrea Goldstein-Piekarski. I study the mechanisms through which sleep improves mood using fMRI and EEG. So excited to be back in person at #ACNP2023 for the first time since pre-pandemic and post-baby. Come see my postdoc Adam Krause present on Wed (W86) from TIRED Brain Study

@russpoldrack @jenott I have mixed feelings. As a grad student I loved the retreats. Now as a parent of two kids under 5, I dread any overnight work responsibility. It’s a constant calculation of whether going vs staying would hurt my career or home life more, and choosing the lesser of the negatives
