🌟TIPS For left kidney start in post axillary line at 8th or 9th ICS 'Knuckles on the trolley' is the term used to get a good view If struggling ask the patient to hold their breath in inhalation You can also try the lateral decubitus position

🌟TIPS: For right kidney, start in mid-axillary line with marker pointing cephalad around the 10th or 11th ICS Rotate the probe counterclockwise 10-20 to get the trans-costal view of the kidney If struggling try the lateral decubitus position and scan from the back
