Brought this home January 2022 and have been converting a couple acres into horse property here at the house ever since. I'll be pinning this post and adding progression photos in the comments. Been a fun project so far.

@RealAirPower1 I was a 7212 Stinger Gunner in the USMC. The Stinger RMP that we used back then would be impaired but not defeated. It tracks on IR as a default but anytime during flight to target, it will switch to negative UV tracking on its own if the IR signature no longer tracks properly.

@RealAirPower1 I was an anti-aircraft gunner in the Marines back in the 90's. We had an Mi-24 at some of our tests as seen center. Not sure where Uncle Sam came up with it, but it was genuine and would show up for us to practice against.

@LibertyLou22 Oh my goodness. And at that point as a young 20-something in the early 90's, I'd have tried to work up the courage to talk to that girl. I'd have probably just said something dumb tho and walked away kicking rocks 🙂.

@JebraFaushay I feel your pain. This is the day in 2008 when we brought ours home. Both lived full lives but we would lose 1 to a rattlesnake bite in 2021 (despite $5K vet bill to try to save him) and his brother didn't last much longer and passed basically of a broken heart 4 months later.

@DannyDeraney Late 80s is when I really took to SNL and stayed with it until my enlistment in the military got in the way. When I think SNL, I think Mike Myres, Chris Farley, Dennis Miller, Dana Carvy, David Spade, Phil Heartman, Dan Lovitz, I'm sure I'm missing others but was a great show thn.

@__Kimberly1 Valentines Day 1998. I was dating a girl I had met at a 4th of July party the prior summer. I had made reservations for dinner/show for the evening. She surprised me and planed a mid-day tour at near-by March AFB museum. I married that girl in 2000. Toady is our 24th anniversary.

I keep hearing that people aren’t voting for Trump because he’s so “divisive” and that he’s “torn our country apart”. What they aren’t realizing is that it’s THEM, and the the leftist politicians and media who’ve actually done all the damage. They’ve twisted his every word.

I enjoy meeting and talking with new people on X. And I understand quite well that there are plenty of scammers online. But can any of my connections answer this. Why do I get asked multiple times a week, by random new acquaintances. see comments below. .

@TheMekon_Venus I loved stuff like that as a kid. But warning, it was a gateway to games like Axis&Allies Global War 1936 pictured below. 3 players focusing can get set-up done in about 3-4 hours. Very complicated but very fun. Below is around late '44 Allies getting ready to drop in Normandy.

@NightShade1776 In the early 80's, at about the age of 10, I would spend 3 days fishing with Leif Garrett and had no idea who he was at the time. And that was the only reason it worked out because over those 3 days, I would see him go to great lengths to avoid those who did.

Crazy thing happened yesterday. Mama duck and about 8 ducklings in the middle of a busy road. We brought the only 2 survivors home. They're about 2 weeks old. My daughter is their mama now. They follow her everywhere.

@TaraBull808 I don't see what the problem is. And doesn't seem like this is something that is being 'taught', but more like college kids having fun on their own. If this is the worst thing that my daughter is involved with in college, I'll consider both her and I lucky.

@MalgorzataD3 Kick in the Eye is probably my favorite by these guys. Fun song. I did get into Love and Rockets even more so than Bauhaus tho and Daniel Ash is the reason that I own and play a 12-string acoustic guitar. I love what those guys did with that 12-string.
