List of emergency financial resources for Veterans. State- specific resources also listed below (🧵). A few states were very easy to find, most took serious digging, and a few offer no aid to their Veterans. This all came about from an email I received from my state’s VA about emergency financial services available, and made me wonder if vets know these are even available. Mine started with a Fisher Price record player and a box of my mom’s 45’s, like Blue On Blue, American Pie… My dad had Iron Butterfly on album, and CCR on 8 track, which we could play on on the buffet-sized system lol. Listened to Kenny Rogers with my grandpa in his pickup when we drove around finding cans to turn in for a nickel each.
