Yes we all knew at the time, Labour leadership seem to be odd ones out, at the same time, wasn't Starmer sending cosy letters to Johnson offering full support to force schools to fully open, force all kids back "no ifs no buts" regardless of no ventilation, social distancing etc?
So they knew Rishi Sunak’s ‘eat out, to help out’ helped covid spread.
They knew was a problem in ‘intervention areas’ eg Leicester where we were in a longer lock down.

60% of bankruptcies in USA result from inability to pay huge medical bills and that includes people with insurance. Most people in UK can't afford dentist never mind private health or insurance, can't afford vet bills or pet insurance. Only the very wealthiest will benefit
