we don't necessarily need QE to send alts higher.. it could be US Fed slowing down its dumping of mortgage backed securities and assets, it could be consumer expenditures dropping, it could be unemployment rising, it could be liquidity levels crushed and banks needing more liquidity, etc.. @fejau_inc
