Spiders are indifferent to humans. Most of them, even the scant few with venom toxic to humans, prefer to run and hide instead of bite. Arachnophobia may be as old as humanity, but is also the least founded in reality. Wasps and even scorpions -- they try to sting people.

@Noahpinion Do you think YouTube has solved this because they suppress negative comments? YouTube still promotes pigeonholing to a crazy extent, constantly pushes regressive content that maximises "engagement" even if it's decisive.

@potaxalum Andy Mukherjee has some great tweets (and articles) on #DeMon It was also a time when the powers that be got almost every single public figure to parrot from the same set of talking points. With immense pressure against even staying silent, let alone calling BS on it all.
