First attempt at whole field strip intercropping getting closer to maturity. Setting this field up for 20' ClusterClucks down the road with goal of whole field of Stock Cropping production.

If you tweet about the glories of tillage reduction, cover crops, infiltration...you must tweet about the curb stomp frost susceptibility stuff as well. This was my nice stand of 35k-37k into strip-tilled rye. Take the good with the bad.

I planted a couple oak trees yesterday. If I don’t have shade by September, I’ll know that oak trees are a hoax. I’ll go back to what I know…growing corn on government assistance.
Ok, going to be brutally honest here. I seeded some cover crop with no government assistance. If it works economically I'll do it again. If not I'll continue with the good farming practices I've done for years.
Today’s the day. Looking forward to the exchange of ideas today with innovative people at our Stock Cropper Field Day at 2 PM program start time @ 41972 40th Ave Buffalo Center, IA. All outdoors...socially distanced. Come on down and get busy living...join us.

Imagine if water infiltration rates were as sexy of a farmer metric to judge one another off as picket fence stands/planting at speeds that require rooster tail suppression technology...
Dragging in our 10-way summer annual mix into the 72” twin gaps today. Hotter than a sack of balls on a furnace top but we’re having fun. Rains coming Saturday. So let it be written…
Stock Cropper was introduced today to it’s first US Senator with

Year 8 of relay cropping is in the record books. Our first 100 bushel 60" wheat crop planted with healthy early April planted full season soybean full of blooms and pods between.
