Trying to usurp the will of the people of Ghana? Does the constitution exist to protect the interests of the people of Ghana or is it there to serve the parochial interests of a few?
Democracy isn’t imprisonment in a self-destructive system.
#Democracy
is not meant to make us slaves to a system that has lost its moral compass.

Ghana on my mind… Witnessing the snowball effect… Lawlessness, indiscipline, political interference in the work of security services are undermining the foundations of our democracy! Ours is an oasis in a turbulent subregion. We must not let it unravel from within!

Even as we celebrate Christmas under rather challenging circumstances, let us also observe the Covid-19 safety protocols.

Yes, the EC process clearly states that the fingerprint scanner will the cleaned before each use. However, as part of my daily visits to a number of registration centres, I have encountered a number of situations where this was not the case. Have you observed it as well?
In the Old Testament, Moses needed to have judges who could preside over issues & punish crimes when committed. The purpose of the “courts” was to reveal the truth & ensure justice was done. And it (justice)was not blind; it was wise, discerning, shrewd at unearthing the truth.

A fishing ban that affects our local fisherfolk, while the commercial trawlers continue to deplete our fishing stock seems unfair. It would be interesting if ECOWAS could enforce a fishing ban in the Gulf of Guinea to give nature a chance to bounce back.

Injustice, more so than poverty leads to a disruption of democracies. ECOWAS is witnessing a domino effect. When the pillars of democracy (good governance) are shaky, the chasm between government & the governed is filled by “disruptors” of “democratic” rule.
