This is true . Remember asking to get taught African history for CIE but it wasn’t on the curriculum. Instead settled on American and French history.
I learned that the really expensive schools, the top class schools preparing kids for Cambridge A-Levels in Lagos - do not teach African/Nigerian history.
This of course, will have serious impact on the next generation of Nigeria's "intellectual elite", or whatever remains of it
