“Social Media Risk” is a really interesting layer. I wonder how will companies/institutions balance regular marketing and promos on these channels along with informative content to maintain trust. Would they have to establish a dual presence (a separate legal/comms account)?

Use this opportunity to make your parents part of your journey abroad. They’d love to see you thrive in a new place. Once you’re settled, invite them to visit and show them around. Through you, they can experience something they might not have had the chance to before.
I'll be joining WongDoody as a Lead Experience Designer later this month. Can't wait to dive into Bangalore’s vibrant tech and design scene and explore life in a new city!

Had the most unexpected, heartwarming, and insane start to the weekend. My Manipal squad surprised me in Bangalore! They planned and booked flights the night before, and walked in one by one to join me at my table in Toit. Still processing it!
Last week, I had the surreal experience of sitting down for lunch with Don Norman as part of a small group—an unforgettable opportunity to interact with him and share some of our work.
While I haven't yet optimized the project pages on my new

website, I'm enjoying redesigning the tiles from their previous monochrome-minimalistic style.
Moving back to India ✈️ ✈️ ✈️
It's been a fun journey since I landed in the US in August 2021 for my Master's. Now, in January 2024, equipped with another degree and a year of work experience, I'm heading back home to Mumbai.
My bestie
@architaaaaaaaaa
, with whom I spent every weekend exploring Pittsburgh for over a year, visited Mumbai for a day of adventure. We had to go everywhere — took a local train, a BEST bus, an auto, the metro, and a rickshaw! What a day!
If you enjoy historical non-fiction, I highly recommend The Last Mughal by
@DalrympleWill
. It offers a nuanced and refreshing perspective on the final days of the Mughal dynasty and the 1857 uprising. History isn't black and white, and this book does a great job of showing that.
The first day of our Design Research workshop was a huge success! I was worried it might get too theoretical, but the wonderful attendees kept the energy high.

Obsessed with the

onboarding flow. Clean interface, clear explanations for every step, reinforces a privacy-first approach, and builds user confidence throughout.

They had such a nice collection of t-shirts when I visited back in 2018. It was different from what was available at the Apple Park Visitor Center.

Building my most complex Framer project yet—a marketing site for a London-based AI startup! Packed with micro animations and interactions, all guided by a super well-organised and annotated Figma file from their designer. Can't wait to share more!
Stopped by the Courtyard on Sunday for a coffee from my Bombay favorite, Subko. As for Naru—seems like I’ll visit Japan before I manage to snag a reservation!

Amritsari in Koramangala has amazing North Indian food. I introduced a bunch of friends to their kulchas and dal makhani, and everyone loved it! It’s no frills, small place with hospitable owners.

+ so far! There are ones that aren’t even talked about like “Trying.” Discovered it after 3 seasons were out and it’s so good.
My brother is traveling solo to Japan 🇯🇵 later this year and is looking to shop there. What are some must-check-out Japanese brands in Tokyo (besides the usual Onitsuka, MUJI, Uniqlo)? And of course, any recommendations on what he should bring back for me? 😊
Last weekend, I had the incredible opportunity to host a session on Design Thinking for Education, attended by 700 school principals and teachers from across India. A full-circle moment for me as my own school's teachers were in attendance.
Travelling to new places and then comparing them to home, only to complain about what’s different, doesn’t sit right with me. Isn’t the whole idea of travel to embrace those differences, experience how others live and do things?
I’m looking for full-time roles on-site/remote in the US.
DMs are open if you’re looking for someone who’s super excited to wield their awesome grad school education and skills to create value.

I uploaded my master's thesis and it generated a perfect podcast episode.
An opportunity fell through after the final round of interviews. But the company was a dream! All green flags – transparent timelines, upfront about compensation range, choosing interview slots, and even had the courtesy to call and provide feedback. Excellent experience. 🏕️
Reworking my website from scratch for the nth time.
Starting this thread to build in public over the next few days.

It took me about two weeks, back in 2018, to familiarize myself with just enough of Swift to put together a winning submission. I had minimal coding knowledge and attending WWDC as a Scholar was one of the most memorable experiences.
Highly recommend students to apply!
We're so excited to announce the Swift Student Challenge 2024, with a new Distinguished Winners category. We can’t wait to see even more students using their creativity and talents to change the world!

The best part of moving back to India is being able to hop on a short flight to see family anytime. A month in, I'm loving Bangalore, but I also can’t wait to spend a week at home in Mumbai!
The one missing friend from the group saw my post, took the first flight from Hyderabad, ran a 21K in Cubbon early morning, and surprised me at Rameshwaram Cafe. I don't know what to expect anymore!

The sun setting behind a mountain of clouds—there’s something about the sky on my commute home that I can’t get enough of—pictures never quite capture it.
