@BetsActuarial @Poseidonios9 @KyleShelton88 @peterrhague does bigotry count as ‘dialectics’ in your operating system? wtf was that out of context Nizer quote

@BetsActuarial @Poseidonios9 @KyleShelton88 @peterrhague Turkey isn’t your ideological petri dish. Ottomans rotted from top like all coercive states. Slavery is tyranny, but conflating systemic race-based chattel slavery with wage labor only serves dogma. Dialectics won’t free anyone. Innovators dismantle bigotry not bureaucrats.

@BetsActuarial @Poseidonios9 @KyleShelton88 @peterrhague Freedom isn’t defined by wage metrics or S&P valuations—it’s the absence of coercion. Cutting the state’s chains so people choose their value, not serve as capital for a bloated system. Let humans build, not beg. innovation > handcuffs

@Somerled10 @peterrhague Sure, fair to disagree on which is more horrifying, at the end of the day doesn't really matter. Personally, I'm pretty sure I'd rate castration as 'worse', and of course they were slaves in essence, exploiting the poor. 4000/yr is a fair estimate.

@Somerled10 @peterrhague Köçek was a horrible practice that mirrored the roman Pueri. It still goes on unfortunately in afghanistan. Really bad. It is however disingenuous to not put it into context of an even worse practice of the european castrati children, which were really high numbers.

@Somerled10 @peterrhague yes sure, it should be be plenty talked about and it is, here we are doing it ourselves. I don't understand your point with sharing that.
