Would love to do a case study collab with @Shopify - we just migrated and launched a $250M DTC and multi-channel marketplace to Shopify Plus and are seeing truly crazy conversion rate increases. They have hard technical challenges from serialized inventory to queued pricing.

I've spoken with multiple $25M-$100M eComm brands that think they need headless. I tell them you absolutely do not. Shopify Online Store 2.0 is absurdly good. The amount of companies of that size that are moving to Shopify should be a good signal.
That said, if what you need is a HP, Collection Page, PDP, Cart and Checkout - you cannot beat Shopify OS 2.0. It's not really a debate. Even at massive scale.

Just got word one of our DTC clients is being acquired. One of those female-owned, under the radar, non-twitter having clients. They're being acquired because of their data. Their data lives in a database and reporting tool that @TheVaanGroup built for them. Really proud. ππΎ.

It's crazy but there's only one DTC eCommerce podcast (that I know of) by someone with skin in the game and that's @andrewjfaris . You should check it occasionally. Everything else is self congratulatory airtime for the established to reminisce.

@Austen This thread is 100% true but so uniquely tied to the mission/business of Lambda School. You've built an amazing thing, an education business, necessitating and worthy of capital. To equate what you do to a social listening tool, or chat app, or 95% of other SaaS undermines Lambda.
