My 9 yr old daughter just told the Christmas story to my 4 yr old son. She ended by saying "and they all lived happily ever after, except for this one thing that happened that I'll tell you about at Easter.".

I'm from a small town in East Tennessee and in the 90s we had a middle school drag show in front of the whole school for the 8th grade boys to raise money for some cause. I forget what the cause was because the more important thing was that I won.

Just celebrated Eucharist for the first time since March. There were 2 of us: Me and a man with severe memory loss. I thought of everything to keep it safe, but I goofed and only brought one book. It was cool because he still had it completely memorized. Ritual matters.

The word "salvation" appears once in the Nicene Creed, in reference to the incarnation. The incarnation is the best atonement theory. God accomplishes the atonement once and for all through God's free act of joining in our flesh and blood. Good Friday is part of Christmas.
