Der große Unterschied: Guantanamo wird von so gut wie allen (auch USA-Freunden) als Skandal angesehen und von Gegnern als Beispiel für westliche Verrohung angezeigt. Die offensichtliche und sehr viel brutalere Folter der Russen wird von seinen Fans jedoch gefeiert.

That's just a lot of wordplay. Israel is at war with Hamas, which runs (at least) the executive and the military in the Gaza Strip. Of course Israel is not at war with the whole of Palestine, but you deliberately want to misunderstand that anyway.
