@Geo704 @raghu_venugopal @BonnieCrombie @fordnation @MikeSchreiner @MaritStiles I tend to agree, but in my experience front line leaders are mostly just managers, not innovators. We need some real political leadership to make the kind of change we need

@Browntoronto1 @raghu_venugopal @BonnieCrombie @fordnation @MikeSchreiner @MaritStiles I'm not sure any of the parties has a credible plan, but immigration is a tiny part of the problems in health care today. Utilization, especially of inpatient beds, is far and away greatest among the frail elderly. Its demographic trends that have been foreseeable for years

@bowmacwood @mattjohnstonca I think Canadians would be very receptive to a Conservative leader who has serious policy ideas about our real challenges. Instead we are stuck with PP and his non-stop dog whistle clickbait attacks, lies, and flirtations with conspiracy theory

@FPVaughanIII @BradenMannsYYC @CarrieTait Rank corruption. Illegal termination of those who were trying to serve the public by asking questions. It is certainly a big deal

@TweetMyDaughter @adamscrabble Thanks for sharing that interesting article, which I read. It is talking about money laundering, however, not fentanyl. Check out this article, which points out that <1% of fentanyl smuggled into the US comes from Canada

@adamscrabble Good question. Obviously we aren't. So perhaps examine the premise of the question and realize you have been fed a pack of lies. The Canadian border is responsible for <1% of fentanyl smuggled in to the US. Fentanyl is just a pretext for these stupid tariffs

@TweetMyDaughter @adamscrabble You think fentanyl is contributing to Canada's GDP? Must be the silliest thing I have ever read on Twitter/X

@davzhao Very naive. This has nothing to do with fentanyl. And which do you want us to do: diverse the economy or build more pipelines?

@DadbodElite @Scaramucci Putting costly tariffs on a friend and ally, which will seriously harm the economies and citizens of BOTH countries, is not the way to deal with fentanyl smuggling. It's like if your neighbour had a loud party one night and you responded by burning down his house. Wrong response

@DadbodElite @Scaramucci I'm obviously not pro-fentanyl smuggling. But most of it smuggling in to the US is coming from China. Assume this tariff policy was effective at stopping that 43 pounds (it won't be), you still have the other 99% of the fentanyl to deal with!
