@land_browns Agree with the need for firings. That means they all go (AB, Depo, KS) at which point you’re behind in the hiring cycle. And, that means a rebuild which I don’t thinks help your cause to save MG.

My point was simply that if MG assisted in moving Baker out, he has skin in the game for the state of this team now. And, before you hit me with the ‘Baker Bro’ nonsense, I fully agree that this version of Baker was not possible in CLE. Lastly, Trent freaking Dilfer won a SB. Don’t tell me it’s impossible for Baker to win one.

Last year, 11-6 and in the playoffs. This year? Did nothing to strengthen the team from last year’s performance and go 3-14 with probably the most incompetent QB room in football. All because you wanted a certain type of QB room and didn’t want to upset poor Watson. Actually surprised MG didn’t publicly demand this sooner.

Different situation. Houston was willing to deal. At this point, Cleveland is not. Also, I call you to ask what you’d take for MG, everything is on the table. You tell me no or he’s not available, then call me back later on? You aren’t getting anything close to what I was willing to offer when I called you.
