Been a busy few weeks on the Links, with staff taking advantage of the dryer weather. We have managed to get our cold seeding programme on the greens completed. This includes bent & fescue seed, 40tons of sand and 3 passes over the greens. A little tonic today I aid recovery!

Another deluge on the links this morning, the rainfall from 1st July 2023 to date has reached 939.5mm compared to an annual average of 620mm pre 2023. With the water table high & these amounts of rainfall there’s not much room left in the soils. 🤦♂️

Like most courses this week, we saw a glimpse of 🌞 but that’s been short lived with 32.2mm in the last week! Staff have put in another great shift especially on Tuesday & Wednesday morning when weather played 🥎 With a full course cut &20 ton of sand into 10mm holes on greens!
