Everyone here at S&A are deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Dr David Marsh MBE. Dr Marsh became our youngest Captain in 1967. He was Captain of the R&A in 1990 and Captained the Walker Cup team twice in 1971 and 1975. Dr Marsh will be missed by everyone here at S&A

The hole usually plays into the wind. A drive avoiding the fairway bunkers leaves a 2nd shot to a green with bunkers protecting the target. Stroke 1 on the card. A great golf hole.
