Yeah generally we've found Claude 3 Sonnet and Opus to be substantially better at WebSim than any other model (gpt-4o, Gemini 1.5 Pro or Flash, Mistral, etc.). Handles a wide variety of weird instructions simultaneously, creates more interesting web pages, etc.
Insane. 4o still can't grasp the idea of simulations while Claude is a Grand Master. Phenomenal!

And by jailbreaking I mostly mean “getting it out of its standard assistant mode and constraints”

was just going about his day, studying physics and using websim to visualize what he was learning, and decided it would be easier if he had a code mirror window to edit the code of his visualizations directly without refreshing.
Here's how! Yesterday, while I was working on studying quantum field theory and neural networks, and building interactive visualizations, Claude and I got the idea to put a self referential IDE right in websim. So, I found Code Mirror and gave Claude some ideas, which he executed
