Addy failed 4 infant hearing tests, one non sedated and one sedated auditory brainstem response test, had surgery for tubes in her ears (that she would’ve needed regardless bc she has very small ear canals to be fair) and has failed 2 hearing tests post operation before today

I have my own opinions, but the only thing I care about it as far as other families go is “the older kids can start helping.” Don’t parentify your children. Don’t make them do parenting duties. Don’t make them take care of younger siblings. DONT DO IT

The hospital gave us a can of formula to last until Tuesday (her home health company won’t help us until then), this feels like such a medical mom fail I should’ve known better 😭 I’ll only be counting on myself to make sure her supplies are on time from now on
