Mikhail Sergachev is about to enter the 2nd year of his 8 year deal worth $8.5 mil AAV
Sergachev locked in at this rate for 7 more years is going to look incredible if he stays healthy, the way the cap is rising.

Utah is overpaying here for Sergachev, but if he can stay healthy, he will be a force for the blueline. Offensive defenseman, at the age of 26 he's had a lot of success but also a lot of tough injuries.

John Marino, to me, is Dmitri Simashev insurance. His contract runs through 2026-27, which gives Simashev 3 more years to develop at least one more year in the KHL, come to North America and acclimate, and maybe even get some reps on Utah and get familiar with the system.

I really like Nordh as a prospect, he's got size and skill, played his way out of the Swedish Jr league with Brynas, then getting 15 points in Allsvenskan.
I think developing in Tucson would be great for him, hoping he can turn into a bottom six winger that can add some depth
