@sentdefender I worked on the Phalanx targeting system briefly at the beginning of my career. It was originally designed to shoot down French Exocet ant-ship missles because the French would sell them to anyone. Some ally. They travel just above the water making them difficult to stop.

@sabrod123 Neat. One mile is 5280 feet. If the average car is 20’ long including gaps, that’s a whopping 396 cars.

@jholbo1 @mattyglesias I think rightist possess a level assuredness that the leftist don’t have because they aren’t constantly fighting against human nature and nature in general. The right accepts the world as it is and isn’t constantly trying to reinvent what it is to be human.

@chrislhayes You don’t give the arsonist credit for putting out the fires they start. Especially when they spend years telling you there is no fire.

@RebeccaAVelo I can’t explain it logically. If I could, then maybe I could empathize. I hear about “crimes”, but all I see is creative or selective prosecution for which any politician or business person would be far more liable. I’ve come to the conclusion it’s just tribal.

@JonahDispatch “Compensate for the failures of the voters themselves”. Do you hear yourself? I would say what’s next, throw the voters in jail for wrongthink, but that’s already happening. How dictatorial of you.

@MosabHasanYOSEF I think Israel has learned damned if you do and damned if you don’t. So might as well do. I liken it to the kowtowing to the left- they’re going to hate you anyway, nothing will ever be good enough, and it’s all Kabuki theater anyway. Choose not to play the game.

@mariedangelo22 @jason_howerton @jimmykimmel So staged misogyny is ok? And blackface, too? Love watching hypocritical modern libs twist themselves into knots trying to justify their untenable positions. Do you even hear yourself?.

@4TaxFairness $250 billion. $250 Frickin’ BILLION!. We’re $35 trillion in debt and you want to take money from the productive. We’re spending over a trillion a year on interest. You think the government can deploy capital better than someone who figured out how to make a billion dollars?.

@yashar That’s not what you’re little blurb says. Sounds like the democrats are trying to criminalize anything that doesn’t support their positions - basically, anyone calling Kamala a hack and Trump a good guy is guilty. What an absolute joke.

@drmini141 @POTUS I know right. He’s such a coward trying to pass the buck. How bad does it have to get before independents and suburban women to see the light.

@hugh_mankind @KanekoaTheGreat Just read BNW for the first time a month ago. I agree with your assessment. We’re reaching a point where society is teaching that there are no differences between the sexes and we’re all on one or more mind altering drugs. Given the drop in birth rates, how long before we’re.

@JoyceWhiteVance Joyce, I feel like you need take a step back and ask yourself why you’re so obsessed with Trump. You’re a lawyer so you know this ruling doesn’t even distinguish between official and unofficial acts. That’s properly left to the lower court to define. Think!.

@buccocapital I’m a cancer survivor. I always like to add “so far”. Nobody gets out alive. Cancer treatment gives you a lot of time to think. I was 49 when diagnosed and I still work, and it’s a necessity with a family counting on you. Cancer made me a lot more altruistic and I don’t care.

@wanyeburkett If you can stab, rape, or murder someone, there’s something seriously wrong with you. Physical violence is not like shoplifting or white collar crime. Crossing that line means more as should the punishment.

@RepDanGoldman @0liviajulianna Be honest. Would it really make a difference. You aren’t going to listen anyway. It’ll just be deflection. It’s very disheartening to see our elected representatives cheering on censorship and political oppression. Just remember this one thing: the truth always comes out even.

@DeaconBlues0 My advice to Republicans is to stay away from this issue. It’s a net negative. We know that no man would be shamed this way. And most importantly, women know it.

@GadSaad Doubt someone from Arkansas would do any such thing. NY or California, sure. I actually find this post narrow and offensive. Southerners aren’t anything like this. Have you ever been to the south? Did you experience anything like this? Do tell.

@BridgetPhetasy My mother was 43 when I was born. She raised me by herself. What truly sucks is that she only met one of my four kids. She was in hospice before my daughter turned one - cancer. Don’t wait. This is them together for the one and only time.

@Noahpinion Every city has a heat dome. How much have those cities grown since 1960. How much more pavement, buildings? How many fewer trees?. Again, democrats do not understand complex systems.

@RealKidPoker @TulsiGabbard @elonmusk @RobertKennedyJr Solid. All they’ve asked today is how they can reach men - white men in particular. How about just being authentic. And if your policy is rejected, accept the answer and don’t attack the audience. It’s not misogyny, fascism, or whatever else. Chances are, it’s just logic.

@JonahDispatch Yeah, that’s a bit much. I grew up on a hog farm and it’s not for the squeamish (there’s a reason I became an engineer). I had uncles who were pretty ruthless when it came to predators, but the pets were treated differently. My aunt even saved quite a few of the runts.

@SamsonCorwell @FromKulak If I’m not free to do with it as I wish, then do I truly own it? No, I just have the privilege of paying taxes on it and being fined if I don’t mow the grass often enough. Or, let’s say the government decides I need a few illegal immigrant roommates. Or, they decide to tax me.

@GeauxGabrielle You have no idea what you’re talking about. A population implosion would be devastating for the economy. Not enough workers, no demand, deflation, tax receipts plummeting. Seriously, what’s this rosey scenario you see on the other side? Would love to hear it.

@JonahDispatch Dude we have the texts between Meadows and Don Jr. Nothing about this was coordinated. They wanted it to stop just like everyone else did. It was a protest that escalated. And there’s substantial circumstantial evidence it may have been provoked. Are u mad at the right people?.

@matt_vanswol I heard the CEO of HP on CNBC (damn that’s a lot of acronyms) yesterday morning basically saying that if you buy their printers, they will no longer work with aftermarket ink rendering them useless. Feels regressive in the absence of a clear competitive advantage.

@YasMohammedxx I grew up in the heavily integrated deep south. My high school was like 60/40 white / black and pretty much nothing else. We grew up up, studied, and played sports together. We had a couple of Jewish kids (fraternal twins) in high school. Literally no one cared. As a young.

@MrPrudentialist It’s not just the younger generation. I’m at peak career, making more money than ever, pretty high up, and I can’t wait to leave this crap behind. A lot of my Gen-X co-workers feel the same way. The boomers prefer to leave feet first with a toe tag. They still think this.

@wanyeburkett According to the Minnesota Twins Studies the last time I looked, which was forever ago, we’re about 70% Nature and 30% Nurture. These were identical twins raised apart and then measured on various traits. The same should hold in the general population.

@sweatystartup Our DJ, a “friend” of my fiancé’s, ghosted us the day of the wedding. She didn’t panic and called around until she found someone who happened to be available. They turned out to be awesome. That’s how she is - she solves the problem, no panic. That’s pretty much both of us.
