I love this. It promotes a mindset where fulfillment isn’t pinned on an end goal but rather on the journey. This can be freeing, as we can and indeed should try to experience satisfaction and meaning in the present, without waiting for some ultimate achievement or possession.
My entire life changed when I accepted one truth:. Real happiness is found in the anticipation. It’s the quest. It’s the hunt. It’s the process. It's the journey. It's the moment right before you achieve it. Happiness is not in the having, but in the becoming.

In some communities there is often a belief that fate dictates circumstances, limiting a sense of agency to change, low aspiration and missed opportunities for economic mobility. We need to shift this mindset by focusing on empowerment and changing perceptions. #leadwithcare.
This chart has been living rent-free in my head. A lot of mindsets and attitudes can be explained by this, and many social conflicts can be predicted as well.

Gareth Southgate’s biggest contribution may have been beyond football, in helping to forge a new interpretation of English nationalism that was all-encompassing and genuinely inclusive. That was no small achievement for a manager who took charge in 2016, the year of Brexit.

Our communities have been waiting on us. Our sons are waiting on mentors. Our daughters are waiting on guides. Our neighborhoods are waiting for us to keep them clean. We don’t do the simple everyday stuff, but we want politicians to take us seriously?
