This is just a sticking plaster when radical treatment is needed for #NonLeague. Regionalise #EFL League Two, North and South, take in many more #NationalLeague clubs so Non-League can get back to being itself and has fewer full-time big clubs throwing money at it, while smaller ones get into financial trouble trying to keep up with them.
All 72 National League clubs are supporting a letter to the EFL requesting a vote to create three promotion places into their league. It's time to Put Football First. #3UP | #PutFootballFirst

Now reading The Little Virtues by the virtuoso Natalia Ginzburg. The passage below was written in 1961. She goes on to say that the English welcome foreigners "without oppressing them" but lament that they have no imagination. Some things change, some stay the same. #AmReading

Very proud that Vikki's name is attached to this excellent initiative by the @theofficialfwa. It really is a prize worth winning, but got to be in it to win it. So, get writing...

Watched the moving BBC coverage of 80th anniversary of #HolocaustMemorialDay today with a mix of sadness and optimism. I visited Auschwitz in '93 while in Poland covering an England game - it was chilling but something I believe we should all do in our lifetimes, if possible.
#OnThisDay in 1945, Soviet soldiers liberated Auschwitz-Birkenau, the largest Nazi concentration and death camp. It is now a symbol of what can happen when hatred is left unchecked. Today, we commemorate #HolocaustMemorialDay on the 80th anniversary of the liberation. Go to | #HMD2025
