i think it's possible this criticism is what lead to the unsatisfying ending of c2 - a lot of the campaign was spent just going with the flow and seeing what happens but suddenly theyre 100+ episodes in, burnt out, still just dicking around, and wanted things to end

i think the reason i latched onto c2 pcs so quickly as opposed to c3 is because they are so obviously flawed. like from the moment we met them i could tell how they needed to grow, how they could help each other grow. in c3 everyone is fairly functional already
