I don’t know how Toly doesn’t see it. But it’s very simple:. 1- L2s are profitable. 2- Due to 1, L2s will do everything they can to bring the world onchain. 3- Any L2 that doesn’t use ETH as base currency will go to L2 graveyard. 4- If we even get to hundred millions using ETH.

@chainyoda It’s not hard to see what are the most important verticals going forward. - execution.- zk proofing. BigCrypto VCs are quite smart, they see the end game and they play. Most think that L1 investments are for the chain itself, it’s actually an investment to the teams that excels.

Solana fees now fully in validators’ control, validators can now artificially increase fees as they like. Because there’s no more burn of priority fees. Solana printer go brrrrrrrrrr.

@0xMert_ @aeyakovenko @drakefjustin I just put current data, as Toly claimed it's 10x cheaper on the podcast. I didn't claim that it can currently retain the fees if it gets similar traffic volume. (I think it will get there anyway.).

@aeyakovenko @0xMert_ First let me correct your calculation (not that it's super important):. With the current usage, a hardware that can have relatively low skip rate costs around $500 to $700. But that doesn't account for the bandwidth. AFAIK, a medium stake validator on Solana uses 350mbit to.

@0xCygaar I threw into GPT4o, not bad translation. 😂 Here:. Let me explain why Ethereum chose a rollup-centric roadmap instead of a monolithic architecture, using an analogy. Think of blockchains as courts. In this analogy, Layer 1 (L1) is like the Supreme Court, while Layer 2 (L2).

Good thing is, I woke up, and didn’t have to do anything after seeing news. Yeah being allocated >93% in ETH sucked for the past 9 months but it’s comfy.

Explain this and I'll explain the arbitrum's DAU increase. @0xMert_. (I will explain anyway as once I see something wrong I cannot not tell, even if it will hurt me to do so).

Can anyone explain what's going on here? You know I have a crypto adoption dashboard that filters out accounts that does >100 txs a day. I wanted to check accounts that did 95 to 100 txs a day to see if there's any account that looks like human activity but I'm filtering out

My thoughts on Ethereum monetary policy debates. 1- Ethereum is a living organism, and I’m not opposed to change. 2- This issue is scientific; therefore, it should be approached scientifically.

@ticktradetick Community that has conviction for the project locks ETH for x years, team uses as collateral for development in a very safe range, lockers get revenue share %.

I hope we could stop talking about what tradfi thinks, do or execute but envision what future will look like. Provenance and uniqueness will be the only important traits that human will be left with when every repeatable process will be done by non-humans. Once we’re there,.

Many TradFi giants will prefer $ETH over $BTC because it's a productive asset with tangible utility and better SoV fundamentals (deflationary + yield). JP Morgan, Vanguard and BlackRock have already signaled this sentiment. These guys will drive mainstream narratives about.

@SavvyShredder 100s of alt-L1s with different wallets, gas tokens, apps doesn’t create mass confusion but L2s create… Okay.

@0xMert_ 1- L2s will be always more profitable than L1s, it's due to efficiencies and simple physics. (If you replicate same computation 1713 times, you're not efficient). 2- Airdropping tokens doesn't mean much, but supporting artists, creators, builders immensely with said profits, will.

@aeyakovenko @0xMert_ @drakefjustin Why? Every single L2 can have as big pipe as Solana. (actually even bigger).

@emilianobonassi Yeah, would be great to have filters: L2s only, L3s only, Blobs only etc. Testnets also why not :).

@KyleSamani @eawosikaa @0xMert_ @aeyakovenko No Mr. Solamani, no… Core devs are heads down building what we really should be building instead of some mere approximations of it. How we know this? Because unlike others they’re doing it all out in the open:. - Research developments are openly documented on.

When you see the comments under this and see most ask which token to buy for this trade. You hate it so much but it’s ETH my friend.

coinbase has 100M registered users, they are building a native smart wallet that allows normies to trade on chain seamlessly without storing any seed phrase or PW or any of that. they have their own L2. what about this trade setup is hard to understand?.

Now that fees are non-issue, reason to hate Ethereum shifts to training wheels. I urge Ethereum haters to find their next target as training wheels also coming off. Anyone complaining about bridging is purposefully dishonest, if they’re already using alt l1.

@ArthurB @zengjiajun_eth IMO in 10 years, all rollups will be ZK and will commit blocks with finalized state roots to L1 every slot. It will take a lot of infrastructure and prover optimization to get there, but that's the clear endgame.

@jessepollak @base @roberto_bayardo OpBNB targeting 100m gas/sec btw, I assume it’s the same stack. 2.5m/sec is same as mainnet. Please don’t miss this chance while they’re rushing to Base. Fees are getting already high because of this very low gas target.
