General observation from
@ethcc
is that VCs are incredibly bored.
There just hasn’t been any innovation for the past few months — only more restaking, LRT, L2’s, AI, BTC L2’s with small differences with each other.
So bearish on the state of the industry when founders have to ask VCs "what narratives do you invest in".
VCs are supposed to be investing in great founders solving real problems, traders trade narratives🫠

Looks like
@goldfinch_fi
is in for another default.
Lend East just revealed today that they can only repay ~$4.25M of their $10.15M loan from the Goldfinch pool, for a whopping 58% loss.
This default also represents ~7.7% of total active loans on Goldfinch.
According to some
$135B of stablecoins on-chain now have the opportunity to earn 4.4% yield through short-term US Treasury Bonds..
as opposed to 1.2% on Aave or 1.8% on Compound

@OndoFinance
is bringing US Treasuries and institutional-grade bonds on-chain 🚨
We are making it possible for stablecoin holders to invest in US Treasuries through a daily liquid, bankruptcy-remote, tokenized fund with regulated service providers.
As of mid 2022, T-bill rates (5%) have surpassed DeFi "risk-free" rates (2%)
This leads to a unique ~$150B stablecoin opportunity to bring TradFi yields on-chain

There's a reason why so many T-bill protocols have popped up on your timeline.
T-bill rates (5%) are still higher than DeFi "risk-free" rates (2-3%). The $130B stablecoin arb is still alive.
short 🧵 comparing the many T-bill protocols & why people use them.

Why are you bullish on crypto? What is the use case of crypto?
Same questions get asked all the time, so I decided to put my thoughts on paper:
Why DeFi makes sense 👇🏼
There should be a "I will go if xxx is going" option for Facebook events so if you and your friend both choose that option, both of you will automatically be going

Exam answer: Use of monolithic annealed glass for walking surface as a structural element is not advisable due to poor post-fracture performance and low robustness, increasing risk of injury
