@blackties_laker We could have done better to insulate ourselves a bit. But having fewer resources going to the US makes us more, not less, desirable for annexation and sovereignty intrusions.

It took police a week to release information on this. We still don't have the name of the teenage victim.
Witnesses called police to report seeing a man being assaulted in Abbotsford before being taken away in a vehicle on Jan. 27. He was later found in Surrey with injuries that ultimately proved fatal.

I'll write something at some point on this. Canada is held back, in part, by its attitude toward ambition. But it is also defined by it, and not just for the worse. There is joy and freedom in being able to be happy, health, and *content* with one's reality.
