I messed up my A levels due to drug addiction.
I didn't get into any of the 'proper' unis but later went to Southbank in Elephant where I did an Arts Management degree.
Now I run an arts org.
I'm glad it turned out like that

This has the potential to be an incredible appointment.
He speaks a lot of sense, from my perspective being from a family where the men tend to go to prison.
I hope he gets the full backing in his role to implement the changes we need, it could be a game changer.
Watch this it’s fascinating - I asked James Timpson what he’d do about prisons and sentencing if he was in charge. He believes only a third of prisoners in jail should definitely be there. He’s now in charge of prisons (but not sentencing).

Lately I've seen racist comments on a museum's social feeds, unaddressed. The situation is getting worse.The statue 'debacle' leads to 'go back to your own country' 1970s type hate expressed freely. If this happens CALL IT OUT & TAKE ACTION. Museums have responsibility in this!

At the time of life I might have made new 'mum friends' I got a new circle of activists, artists, campaigners & journalist friends. Now life mid 40s is many things but lonely or boring it is absolutely fucking not.

Today we heard appalling stories from new asylum-seeking members of our community who’d recently been released from

camp.
