My mother died this morning. She’s with her greatest love, my dad, who left this earth in 1996. She waited a long time to be with him. They used to ride around together the night of the full moon and park. I’d like to think dad came to pick her up so they can enjoy the full moon

Me.I was there and took care of myself when I had to. I keep love in my heart when the hate in the worlds knocked me down. I didn’t let fear and doubt drop me. Almost. Many times. But I couldn’t have done it wo the network of humans in the world that keep each other standing.

I understand. I’m alone, too. It can be paralyzing when faced w stressors that threaten your life and there’s no one there to help or comfort you. But you have to press on. Get your bags ready. Your meds. Basic survival bag. No matter your migraine right now, PUSH. Save yourself!

Remember how far you've come, not just how far you have to go. You may not be where you want to be, but neither are you where you used to be.

My dad died in 1996 at the young age of 59. Parkinson’s w Lewy Body. He never smoked, drank, or did drugs. High school principle, girls basketball coach and algebra teacher. Avid bass fisherman. He was my person. He’s the brightest star in the sky! I miss you and I love you dad.

My mother-in-law died yesterday at the age of 87. I loved her very much. She was a beautiful lady. A role model and mentor. A woman of presence and grace. Always smiling and finding the positive. Always ready to hug or listen. I miss you, Mom. See you in heaven!
These are micro eco systems I make of moss, tiny trees, and foliage. Sits in indirect sunlight so warms and waters itself everyday. Mist and feed every few mths but otherwise self sustaining. I have some over 10 yrs old. There’s another world under the fallen leaves in the woods.
