@oldmarthas2022 As to the “penis rule” for sports participation, how would that address folks with naturally high testosterone levels? Who are intersex? Who have three chromosomes? … Who’s in charge of looking in kids’ underwear and being that arbiter?

@oldmarthas2022 Funny that the only person claiming she saw this happen is also a right-wing activist who has a very specific beef with that particular athlete. Surely it’s just a coincidence.

@oldmarthas2022 I disagree strenuously with the notion that trans women are “taking over” women’s spaces and sports, or that ostracizing them in high school is any kind of solution to that almost nonexistent phenomenon.

@KevinBerryEcon @capture907 It does for the ones that pull the roster of folks whose ballots have already been received. Ironically, you may still get visits from less organized or more poorly funded campaigns that don’t have the infrastructure or expertise to do that; they just hit every door.

@MattTunseth I haven’t been paying attention to the discourse, are they claiming it’s not worth it because people can get injured? Because that happens in spring training too, which is where these players would be otherwise.
