Just walked into the kitchen to find the neighbour’s cat has snuck in through the kitchen window (again!) and is tucking into some leftover pasta and veggies. She’s literally sat by the stove (it’s off) dipping her paw into the pan. 😹

Today’s highlight. A magnificent fox is sunbathing in our back yard. He hangs around a lot because it’s so quiet I guess. The cat stared at him for a while, then gave up and sauntered off.

My brother has just made a 365 mile round trip with my niece to go and sit on the wall outside my parent's house to say 'Happy Mother's Day' to our mum.

Our cat now has a GPS collar. She has such a large territory it gives us peace of mind when we don’t see her for days. Just now we spotted she was in the local school playground down the road so we walked there and she ran over to us and came home. So cute!

We’re totally owned by this cat. I’ve never known another like her. She’s either out, eating, or asleep. Humans are just an annoyance. All birds and small mammals have left the area, even other cats seem terrified.
And we still talk to her in a pathetic baby voice 🙄

At dinner with parents last night we realised no one had any matches or a lighter for the candles. M offered to pop to the shop, Dad said no need and disappeared into the garage. Then appeared with his blowtorch and lit the candles from about 3 ft away.
