My grandma sent me a video on why cats are allowed at the monastery. The best part is when he talks about when cats pass away, they go to heaven and immediately pray for their owners. Wish I had time to translate it all and add subs but enjoy it anyway - it’s an adorable video.

Serotonin & learned helplessness. Pain & righteous anger protect the organism from being harmed. When you can't escape harm, serotonin numbs the protective emotions to hide the awful reality of an inescapable environment. Better to conserve energy and live another day.

Yes. Meat is good, but an all-meat diet doesn't work for many and is metabolism-destroying for some. Sure, it's probably better than what you ate before. Is that what you're comparing it to? Also, diet alone doesn't determine health, and many sports promote hypometabolism.
