I changed my action button to open a folder in Shortcuts. I created a folder called Action Button and in there I'm building out shortcuts for some of my most used workflows. This is infinitely more useful than a mute switch, which I kept on all the time anyways.

Right side gang here. First thing I did on my 15PM is turn off notifications and wallpaper from the AOD. To me, an AOD should be all black and show only the time. That's my personal preference, others may (will?) feel differently. At least we have choices 😊

I’m honestly not sure how you come up with this calculation. I can walk about a mile in 15 minutes, a 4mph pace which is decently fast for walking, and I get about 2k steps in a mile.

In 2007, when I was deploying to Afghanistan with an infantry battalion, we got about 45 guys added to our unit from IRR. Many of them were just shy of the 4 year mark on their IRR obligation. Lot of disrupted lives.

Apparently I’ve started a trend, where I have to give each kid a piggyback ride up the stairs at bedtime.
My stairs count is going up, and my legs are going to get worked. Plus the kids will remember this shit for the rest of their lives.
Tell me this isn’t win/win.
