@MixedCereal A lot of it has to do with the combat systems. I really don’t like XV’s combat. And then individually Clive is one of the best FF protagonists of all time and I love XV’s party but Clive’s story is more compelling to me.

I don't know if there's really evidence EITHER way but I don't think you can say authoritatively female V was for sure more popular.

@takeme2hobbiton I used to feel this way but for some reason I tried Bloodborne and it finally clicked. If the gameplay loop connects with you it’s legit fun but I also understand people who aren’t into it. 🤷🏼♂️. To each their own.

Yet again: X-Men kinda sucks as a metaphor for oppression and bigotry because 100% if mutants were real this person and most of the people arguing like this would want registration and a cure available so some random mutant doesn't accidentally glass the city they're in.
“The cure” in the context of X-Men is code for extermination. Hope this helps.
