I know people refer to the more rural parts of PA as “pennsyltucky” and part of PA does border West Virginia. Also hearing her mom speak she definitely has some southern inflections as well. All that combined with moving to TN at 10 and picking up speech patterns from there

Also like accents are crazy! A rural “country” accent, even if you’re in the Midwest, sounds a lot like a southern accent! One of my favorite country singers is from Alberta Canada and she has a country/southern accent!!!
