Let me make the message clearer. The sale of stolen land is unconscionably evil.
Any faith based organization that partakes in this kind of act should have its religious status immediately revoked by the government.
Clearly the message has not sunk in yet so let me repeat. Demonstrating outside of Jewish institutions to protest against Israeli actions is antisemitism pure and simple. It should not be happening in Thornhill or anywhere else in Canada.

The term "unhoused neighbours" really sticks out to me here. In a good way. We've been brought up with negative connotations around the word "homeless," and this new term is really humanizing.
I gotta remember to use this term myself.
Every winter we hear about our unhoused neighbours freezing to death on our streets. Homelessness is a policy choice, but so is ending it. We can make this winter different.
