So it is ok for a Christian to wear a cross, a Muslim woman a hijab, a Jewish man a Kippah but an LGBT+ person can’t express their identity with a rainbow lanyard because it’s ‘political’. Utter hogwash and pure discrimination against a class of people because of their background
Hasn’t taken long for the Labour government to show its true colours & to show its contempt for civil service impartiality.

I profoundly disagree that trans children should not be able to ‘socially transition’ (change name, change pronouns and dress differently) under 18. The age of criminal responsibility in England and Wales is 10-years-old. Gillick competency is the legal framework for such matters
There should be no official recognition of social transitioning for under-18s and single sex spaces should be protected in schools. The Government should issue guidance to schools urgently to make this clear.

Trans people should not have to live in a hostile environment. We are not an ideology we are human beings who deserve to live free and equal, to be treated with respect and dignity and live in harmony with others as valued members of society. Dehumanising us is unconservative.
Under Labour, parents will be kept in the dark as their children are taught contested gender ideology in the classroom.
Don’t give Keir Starmer a blank cheque when it comes to our children.

What’s biological sex? Hormonal sex, DNA sex, Gonadal sex, sex characteristics? Hormones change bodies and blood DNA. 21% of women have some portion of xy DNA. Intersex people have both sex gonads and mixed sex characteristics. National gender testing?

Self-ID and social transition add up to a very dangerous ideology that can have terrible effects on young LGB children, who are being put on a medical pathway to irreversible physical changes.
We are not going to run away from this issue. We will sort it.

Misstating what the Convention says is not helpful to anyone. Note definitions are gender not sex based and rights of victims shall be secured with out discrimination on numerous grounds including specifically gender identity. If your wish was granted the UK would be in breach!
