Yes, everything they are doing speaks of ridiculous amounts of greed. Don't think it's going to go over well with the customer base, and at some point, there will be a huge drop-off, which will stun the casino establishment.

I had a dish similar to this at an old restaurant called "Al Penny's" in Los Angeles many years ago.
The only real difference was... that nestled inside the cooked pineapple was a cooked chicken breast. Delicious, and is still one of my more pleasant dining memories.

Interesting idea, but it takes away too much of the strategy for me. Players would be forced to play more marginal hands earlier in order to not get down to the 20 big blinds.
If we're gonna do crazy stuff, why don't we have a rule when a player gets down below 20 big blinds
