Punch up, not down. π Barry Town nostalgia and whimsy. Seven-time champions of Wales. Six-time Welsh Cup winners. European adventurers. #GazaCeasefireNow

Happy New Year, everyone!. 2024 marks the 30th anniversary of our landmark Welsh Cup Final win over Cardiff City in Cardiff. It also marks the 25th anniversary of our milestone Premier Cup Final win over Wrexham in Wrexham. More to follow on both in 2024. #EmbraceYourHistory

Britain had it all, man. A strong Pound, a seat at the table in Europe, a Special Relationship with the US, global respect and standing. Tories flushed it all away, courting UKIP/BNP policies to keep power. And it wrecked Britain. Go to the electorate. #GeneralElection2022.

There will never be #conscription or National Service again in the UK, as young Brits would sooner fight the Union Jack nutters than help them. And rightly so. Populist right-wing shit bags. Can't run a nation so will throw every desperate dead cat going out there to distract.

Took this photo a year ago today at the fabulous @HomelessWrldCup in Cardiff's Bute Park. Moments later, I watched an Indonesian goalkeeper dance to 'Come on Eileen'!. Great memories, man. @MichaelSheen and team did Wales proud. The joy on people's faces was something else.

Welsh club, representing Wales, the Welsh language and the Welsh football pyramid - while other plastic patriots chase the English coin and Sky Sports glory, this is as real as it gets. Good luck, lads.

Now that @WWENetwork have uploaded all of the old #WCWThunder episodes, the world can finally celebrate the sheer wonder of 90s WWF mainstay Brian 'Crush' Adams wearing a 2000 @Kappa_UK @Cymru shirt to the ring!. Still so random!. @TheBarryHorns @Ffwtbol @PhilJones77 #WalesAway

As former Welsh Cup challengers, have Hereford, Shrewsbury, Crewe, Chester and the like been invited to the MG Cup party?. Could rebrand it as the 'Transport for Wales Cup'. π. @NoelMooney13.

The whole 'Independent Football Nation' thing would have SO much more credibility if Wales' biggest clubs weren't, literally, dependent on England. I know, you all don't like it and you're angry at me, but it doesn't mean I'm wrong. #NoTeamGB.

@kelvmackenzie Of course it was going to go up, everyone wanted to see what it would look like. You guys are so desperate. Desperate to shut down the truth. Desperate to keep lying crooks in power. Why?.

The BBC luring in viewers with the promise of them FINALLY holding the UK government to account. only to air a lengthy Boris Johnson tribute show is the most 2022 thing imaginable. When will there be people on the streets? Protesting, not starving. #Panorama.

Good luck to the good people of Birmingham today, whose city is being used as the HQ for a gathering of people wrecking their lives and their country. The #ConservativePartyConference is little better than a criminal event at this point. Giving Britain's money to the rich. Sick.

It's been 26 years (!) this week since @Gaza003 made his debut for Barry. Remember filling in his name on the Man of the Match slip (remember them?!) at that first game vs Inter Cardiff. Went on to win 16 national trophies with Barry, score against Porto and more. #Lloydinho

@BellaWallerstei @NeilMonton It's protest against Israel killing tens of thousands of innocent people and trying to gaslight the world that is in any way justifiable.

Proof beyond doubt that the standard of football in the @CymruLeagues Premier is not what needs improving, it's the promotion, the publicity, the profile, the perception, the participants and the poorly-performing format.
Another outstanding win for #CymruC tonight against an England C team full of professional players π . With no TNS players involved, none of our boys are full-time. Talent in the @CymruLeagues is evident for everyone to see π

It seems pretty clear from this that if you voted #Brexit to curb migration, all you really achieved was keeping Tories from paying higher tax. All while making us poorer and taking away our right to move and live freely in 27 countries. What a con. #BrexitHasFailed

Six days ago, Jack Sharp of @FAWales said that clubs kicking off their final games simultaneously was *"imperative for sporting integrity"*. Tonight, @BalaTownFC kick off knowing what they need to pip @BarryTownUnited, who have no opportunity to adapt. @CymruLeagues are liars.

On non-Barry matters. seeing loads of tweets from joyous Coventry City fans tonight! Brilliant!. Like us, the Sky Blues had to play out of different away grounds to keep on trucking in the lower reaches. Been through a lot. 20,000+ there tonight and a 3-0 win. Ace, man. #PUSB.

@GillianKeegan @Conservatives I did my GCSEs, A Levels and degree under a Labour government, did brilliant, went abroad to do a Masters, couldn't afford to do it now because of your shitty Brexit. π. Kids these days actually aren't stupid. They're gonna help us vote you out soon. π.

@Coral @europacnfleague They're not called Total Network Solutions and it's not called the Welsh League. You know what doesn't make sense?. Relentless gambling sponsorship in football when gambling is an illness that preys on the vulnerable. And starting a sentence with 'Are'.

So why, @FAWales, is it the League Cup and not the Welsh Cup? Because the EFL clubs don't want to touch Tier 2 or 3 teams with a bargepole? Because they only fancy playing four fixtures, tops, against a select group? . It's all that, isn't it?.

Will there be a single football kicked in Europe on Welsh soil this summer?. Embarrassing. Can't go on like this.
Caernarfon Town have confirmed that their UEFA Conference League home tie this summer will be played at Park Hall, the home ground of TNS. π· @sameaden/@FAWales . #JDCymruPremier

As it's trending, here's a reminder that #WalesAway might no longer exist if not for the maligned, under-reported and under-supported Cymru Premier. People might not have their Eastern European holidays if there weren't buses going to Bala every other weekend.

Over 20 Welshmen in the Barry Town squad for tomorrow's #UEL tie, by my count. Must be up there with the most ever taken for a European club match. Great opportunities provided by club and manager.

Great pic from @SteffRobs84 of yesterday's Carmarthen vs Swansea. Shows the difference in crowds a competitive game vs Cardiff or Swans can make. If they'd been in the LoW from the get-go, we could have had 30 years of this, all over Wales. But, a positive! π. #NathanielMGCup

25 years ago today, Richard Jones scored one of the greatest goals in Barry Town history. I've never seen one quite like THAT equaliser at @AberdeenFC, before or since. And what an occasion to do it, the first appearance of any Welsh team in the UEFA Cup First Round proper.
