SIA is turning 50!🎉
For the past 50 years we have pursued this goal and we will continue to do so until it is achieved.
Serving the SCI community is the greatest privilege. Thank you to everyone who has supported SIA throughout the past five decades!
Our new ambassador is joining

We can't wait to see Amanda Abbington in her dancing shoes very soon!💃
Her fiance,
@TheDaredevil
, who has a spinal cord injury, told us why he is backing her all the way!
Look out for more from our chat with the pair very soon!👀
Deepest sympathies to our patron The Princess Royal on the death of her father, Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh.
And condolences to the entire
@RoyalFamily
today. We’re grateful for Prince Philip’s steadfast service to the many charities he supported.
WE DID IT!!🎉🎉
A huge thank you to everyone who supported

Your incredible help means we were able to raise a record £200,000!
This money will make a massive difference to the lives of so many people affected by

Thank you all so much💙
This is Zoe and this is her story... 👪
You can help us continue to support more people like Zoe by making a donation to our Big Give Christmas challenge. Donate TODAY until 7 December and it will be DOUBLED by matched funding!
We are all deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Brian Gardner, former Clinical Director of the National Spinal Injuries Centre at Stoke Mandeville. Brian was well known for his invaluable contribution to SCI. He will be sorely missed and our thoughts are with his family.
We are proud to announce we raised over £67,000 at our Cornflower Ball last week in Manchester. Thank you to everyone who supported the event.
All funds raised will go to supporting the many services we offer for spinal cord injured people and their families around the UK!

It is a DISGRACE that Israeli minister Karine Elharrar was turned away from the COP26 summit in Glasgow yesterday because the venue is NOT wheelchair accessible!
There are no other words to describe this. It is an absolute disgrace! 🦽🦽🦽
Very proud to be partners of Williams Racing who are donating half the profits of every one of their branded Bumpaa antiviral masks sold to SIA, to help us support SCI people across the UK during the Coronavirus outbreak.
