@Jahmez_HKR
If ever a Tweet summed up an element of a certain fan base , this is it. He’s won more in 6 months than your entire club has in 39 years.
Priceless.
1. Hull fans whinging like fuck about the current set up.
2. Hull release underperforming, high salaried quota player
3. Hull fans whinging like fuck because of point 2.
Odd bunch.
Hull City 119 years and NEVER won a major trophy.
Hull KR 38 years without a major trophy, see top half and finishing above FC as success
Hull FC = dire at the minute due to poor signings and player retention.
Hull fans look at the first 2 paragraphs; it could be worse.
Two 5pm kick offs…
Do I watch the team that despite all the hype and self loving hasn’t actually won anything of note for decades?
Or…do I watch England?
@CalzyHKR
If you’d have told me in 1985 that Hull KR wouldn’t win a major trophy in the next 39 years, would get beat 50-0 at Wembley, completely bottle a relegation decider with 90 seconds to go and have the most deluded fan base in the history of life, I’d have laughed even more….
@willpryce_
@ConnorWynne15
Wow. As a Hull fan of 45 years, I have to say that one post just showed how far you will go in this great sport of ours. Talent, humility and a willingness to learn from a mistake.
Well done you 👍
@andywil43650054
Hull KR fans have high hopes for:
1986/7/8/9
1990/1/2/3/4/5/6/7/8/9
2000/1/2/3/4/5/6/7/8/9
2010/1/2/3/4/5/6/7/8/9
2020/1/2
Phew, thought I was gonna use my 144 character limit
Great response from Hull KR fans to their 46-4 defeat. “Proud” , “…at least we didn’t get nilled”. This is what celebrating mediocrity looks like after 37 years without a sniff.
@OfficialPDC
@TAB_Sport
…but it isn’t a shock and that is the issue. Shoehorning a player in to fit the current narrative taking over British sport is potentially ruining her career and embarrassing the PDC.
@SinceMajor
If Hull had done the same we’d all call it smart. Fair play to Rovers for doing the right thing by them. If they win the cup nobody will remember or indeed care, about the team that played Wigan.
@hullkrofficial
@PenrithPanthers
Never forget the missed touch finder that denied Hull KR the chance of a first major trophy in 38 years. Thank you for my season highlight ❤️
@hdmhullfc
Fash and Lane being the first two players to comment is absolutely priceless.
You’ve both being absolutely shite and are no where near SL standard.
@HantsCastiger
Give over. Poor signings, including the head coach who spends too much time trying to be funny and thus cannot be taken seriously. Hull KR (from a Hull fan btw) worthy and deserved winners.
Some reality checks needed;
1. The damage done over 6/7 years ain’t gonna be fixed this season.
2. It’s the same group of players with a couple of loanees. Most now know they’ve been found out and won’t be here next season.
3. It’s been 7 years - not 4 decades.
It will come…
@F0rdyWigan
@DinosaurLeague
Hull took more to Catalan and Magic weekend than any other club. Only one of four clubs to average over 10k despite the team being shite. More people in the city of Hull, with a combined average of 17k watch RL than any city outside of Australia.
Crack on mythbuster 🥳
@Rod_Studd
The booing of Price is an infinitesimally small fraction of the issue. The “boris” song, abuse based on nationalism, beer throwing, booing other players mid throw etc, etc - yet Sky and the PDC appear afraid to really call it out by pausing the matches and making a stand.
@SeriousAboutRL
Of course they will, remember:
1. They are going places
2. They have a power board
3. Only lose when it’s the refs fault
4. Can sign who they want
5. Take over 100K to away games
6. Are the Man City of RL
Apologies for confusing reality with the opinion of the “disillusioned”
@PaulFletcher14
It is really a question of which Hull team are the worst at the moment. Sometimes our obsession with each other holds us back I am afraid.
@cambibs
@TheRFL
Not sure what’s worse:
1. Celebrating a 58-0 defeat
2. 39 years without a sniff and believing your team are the fucking All Blacks of rugby league.
@SilversRef
Praise be: Four key factors causing the token outrage;
1. It’s Leeds
2. Recent events in Mylers personal life
3. Jon Wilkins comments as he has become a subject of parody.
4. Gives RL fans another reason to say “the game is dying”
Fash calling the performance unacceptable carries the same level of irony as Jordan Lane saying we didn’t make enough metres or Carlos / Walker stating that we are injury prone.
@Saints1890
“Thin”…one loss to Salford and you think being top of super league and the reigning champions is “thin”. Pop over to East Yorkshire for a couple of years and you’ll see what “thin” really is.
@rugby_around
@hullfcofficial
Hull fans overreaction to this is as predictable and laughable as ever. Hull need to balance and strengthen in three other key areas and thus tough decisions have to be made. Releasing a 34 year old quota player makes sense.
