S2 was meant to have a *good enough* ending just in case DJ got screwed over yet again, but by no means was everything resolved. I think everything that happened in S2 made sense, even if it was underdeveloped due to time constraints. S3 had plenty of room to tie up loose ends.

If there was any possible way to limit responses only to donors, that would have happened, but people were able to give money anonymously. This is the most fair and democratic way to do things. It’s better to have a public vote than risk excluding a large amount of donors.

I doubt any of the ideas were more extreme than Wee John's Divine inspired look, which worked very well for his character. I definitely think that look would be too much for Izzy, but that doesn’t mean the other ideas were homophobic or anything, Jesus.
