Day one of new restrictions:
Guests having dinner with us take a 10 minute break between courses to enjoy a bottle of wine they had ordered in their room
Can still drink all they like upstairs, but not in the restaurant.
Good on them, I’m glad they did.

FFS it’s been three days since I debuted on TV and l haven’t had one hairband company approach me for a sponsorship deal.
Might as well shave it all off. What a waste of time.
There’s too much talk about brexit being the problem with hospitality vacancies in the UK.
For me, I believe the problem started years ago with long hours and poor pay.
It’s 2022 and the time is now for offering a better work life balance to people joining the industry.1/4

Perhaps making 200 takeaway afternoon teas with a 4 litre houshold kenwood mixer was a slightly questionable decision 😅😅
A 600g batch of scones made 18 times in a row was a particular monotonous highlight.

The week before lockdown we had ordered in loads of garlic
With no idea how long we’d be out of the Kitchen for, 2 of the boys who live on site cooked it all @ 55’c for 8weeks,
Result- Fermented black garlic.
It is now a highlight on our bread course-Black Garlic butter💥
