This is the state capital of Bihar. Look at the road, look at the filth. Always remember - Indians have a high tolerance towards filth. Most of the civic problems will be solved the day these things start mattering to people. This is in front of the home of former CBI director.

Yeah, the college hostel is essentially 3 BHK flat type units for 3 students (single occupancy). Every one gets a private room plus living + dining + balcony is shared by three students.
I’ve an Upper Second Class Honours from the University of London (Banking and Finance) and my father’s net worth is in millions of dollars. I can emigrate solely on academic merit or can even buy the golden visa of Spain or Portugal.
But whatever makes you happy.
Most people have no idea what used to happen in Bihar and UP. We had tier of criminals that most will never face. Just for instance, Mukhtar Ansari’s men fired 500 rounds of AK47 on Krishnanand Rai’s vehicle. 67 bullets were recovered from all bodies in the post-mortem.

My reason of not emigrating is that it feels like I’m betraying my brethren. I could possibly make many lives better if I continue to stay here. We must come together to help our own, the ones oppressed by the State.
People from the non-reserved communites who have succeeded in life in this hellhole despite the entire state machinery against them have a moral obligation to help their not-so-fortunate brothers who are still struggling in this David vs Goliath battle.
Extremely bullish on Telangana. The way in which their IT Minister
@KTRTRS
is handling Web3 related issues and his willingness to listen to founders is commendable. More to come.⚡️
Good 4BHK flat in Patna will cost ₹2 Crores. Expensive ones will cost a lot more. This is the base price, registry charges and interior will inflate this even more.
It will take 400 years for a person with average PCI in Bihar to purchase it with 100% of their income. 🤯
Why are people dying all of a sudden? I mean fairly young people. A 20 yo uncle’s son passed away a month ago and another 60 yo uncle (no hypertension or diabetes) passed away today. Sudden heart attack is so common after we know what.
Even if we; including me, him or a couple of friends don’t emigrate, this is an intentional attempt at doing something at a place we call our own. Sad to say, but it is over and this land offers nothing other than sub par infra and living conditions + bottom tier education/jobs.
It is not okay to have ugly surroundings. It is never okay to accept this as your fate and certainly full of ill intent if you wish this on behalf of everyone. We need to formalise the economy and improve the infra - no matter what it takes. Demolition? Sounds fair.
It’s okay to be backward, it is okay to buy milk, Rabdi, curd from nameless shop but known shopkeeper, shops where walls are decked with old images of Gods, where they don’t cut tickets before you even eat. Sit and relax and resist globalisation: 🌸
“Washed and clean” - look at the floor lmao. I told you about your cleanliness standards, you need not prove it. Even the streets, full of shit. We should just stop romanticising living a sub optimal life.
@shashwatgautam_
Lol? You can't make anything, you are seal-dibba pack enthusiast. And that's washed and clean, people don't take bath for ages cry for cleanliness.
Modern Indians can’t stand even an iota of criticism. If you say something that they should improve upon be it education, Law and order, sanitisation, infrastructure - they will start reeing and making personal attacks on how you they are superior.
I didn’t bring it up in the first place
I take a picture of a cow outside the gym
People lose their marbles that Im trying to make the country look bad b/c the lot is a garbage dump
They know full well what their cities look like
The cultural sensitivity is their problem
The only time I punched someone as an adult and knocked him down was in April, 2022 when a drunk man intentionally touched my sister while passing by. It felt really good to knock him down in one punch along with pounding him on ground.
50 acres (1344 katha in Saran, Siwan, Gopalganj districts) in Bihar will cost ₹20 Crores if the plot is farmland with no access to road. Land with access to decent road will cost you a minimum of ₹60 Crores.
Even the most expensive 4 BHK in GGM (DLF Camellias) costs ₹40 Cr.
Lolol, I watch atleast 2-3 movies a month in theatres because I don’t need to prove I’m high IQ via the choices I make for movie consumption. Take life a little easy.
@Ravisutanjani
Add to that the failure to create jobs in private industries. No semiconductors or military equipments manufacturing jobs in this country.

IITs are also the only institutions that come in top 100 on the planet in their field of study (QS Engineering).
The seethe against IITs is the hallmark of a humanities midwit.
High Real Estate prices leads to people buying smaller homes, which makes it difficult to pursue intellectual pursuits, academics and anything entrepreneurial. How is one supposed to focus on work or studies when 4-5 people live in a 2 BHK home at all times? This needs a fix.
> have a home in village
> visit it 6x/year
> my grandfather started a college so that people get civilised and not live like those in ghettos
> lived in tier 1, tier 2, tier 3 & village
I still call all this unhygienic & backward, people who maintain these shops need education.
@ghost__particle
Dhandhos are utilitarian. Only a few in India do anything for intellectual pursuit, rest all buy at 10, sell at 12. Some research projects or works don’t produce any monetary outcome, atleast for a few years to say the least. Not all are built to digest that and still go all in.
@ChiranjeevJain7
@dreamyyinn
I didn’t write CAT so old IIMs were out of equation, plus was not keen on 2 years programme.
ISB was out of equation due to work ex requirement.
I don’t want to leave India, so US and EU out.
MU offered me shorter programme, high ROI and focus on entrepreneurship.
@zhukov45
Not about ego, but about aspirations of buying anything decent. They can’t afford anything asset heavy or even expensive education for children.
@rudrabhoj
I concur. In India, meat prices are nominally (not even adjusting it) as high as the US. How are Indians supposed to pay ₹800-1300 per kg of meat with the per capita income that they have?
True India: March, 2022, our tanker had a leakage (it contained 3000 Litres of Petrol in a chamber) on way to Retail Outlet from Depot. People started collecting the Petrol in polybags & bottles instead of helping. Eventually police came to rescue.
@newwuserrs
They will blame me for putting something which is not representative of India.
It isn’t, neither was the IIT Bombay hostel that they started sharing. We have good government hostels as well - someone shared their IISc room. Either way, I was just sharing the photos.
@hemanath1712
@ahamasmi_yodha
I concur, and I’m not comparing. Government must be criticised for the poor state of hostels, I was just making the point that of private colleges/universities can do it, we should expect atleast the half from government.

Kirti Mandir, Barsana was so beautiful. I was able to visit it last year because of Radha Rani and Bhagvan Krishna’s blessings.
These photographs were taken when I last visited in November, 2020.
Not having a bike/car or no Apple device (as per his definition, it seems elite) is no flex. Good for you and you are free to make your choices but people who buy those generally are rich enough to do that, inheritance wise. We all should stop hating on the rich.
I'm a 23yo with ₹1.5 lakh+ monthly income. Yet:
- I don't own any 'Apple'
- I don't live on my own
- I don't have a bike/car
Why?
Responsibilities of an Indian son who:
- Retired his parents
- Pays all the bills
- Plans for his family's future
I want to glamourize this.
One old-school advice which I find correct is that you must be good at Mathematics and Tier 1 schools matter - Someone at IITs or IIMs will always have an advantage. Some crème de la crème companies won’t even visit tier 2 schools (Non Target schools).
Collegium is the last standing pillar between the dehaati elected lawmakers on one side and we know who dominated judiciary on the other. Government wants it to go down so that they breach the 50% reservation policy and implement Mandal Commission recommendations in judiciary.

My business kiosk and stall - Rangkari will be displaying and offering a wide range of premium cotton bedsheets at Worldmark, Gurgaon on 17th September.
You can drop by between 12 PM to 10 PM if you are around.
Despite the vices and problems, Delhi seems the best city of India even today. Noida is free from a lot of traffic issues so NCR overall is best if one lives in a decent locality. I’ve visited Mumbai, Hyderabad and Kolkata (multiple times) and lived in Bangalore for 4 years.
