@scifiengineer Europe is getting it right on SAF. And quite a few places are on electrification. I’m about to have lunch with a petroleum engineer/upstream asset owner friend. I will be interested in his take on this dataset.

@gnievchenko @Tobias_Johan Depends on how you make the synthetic kerosene. If you use waste as the biomass source, via gasification paired with CCS, you get a _RADICALLY_ different set of math. That might not be what the e-fuels people want to hear.

Because people will fly more when flights are faster, the market for supersonic jets will be much larger than the market for subsonic. So if we succeed, Boom will need to be much bigger than Boeing and Airbus.
