New Copenhagen style segregated cycle lanes are planned for the Inner Avenue. Work starts from Monday 11 February at the junctions of London Road, Rockstone Place and Archers Road. The full scheme is expected to take up to 20 weeks.

The final phase of Bassett Avenue was successfully completed last night with the application of an anti-skid surface treatment. There are no further planned closures so Bassett Avenue will be open tonight.

There is no cost to the council whatsoever, it was provided free by Balfour Beatty & our supply chain. And yes they worked for no pymt last night. The majority of our staff & sub contractors live in or around Southampton & have partners/friends who are NHS or key workers
