A Consular officer said I'm being denied a visa coz I'm on Modi govt's "reject list." It's clear why. My socialist City Council office passed a resolution condemning Modi's anti-Muslim anti-poor CAA-NRC citizenship law. We also won a historic ban on caste discrimination.

Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi deliberately spoke a falsehood about my visit to the US in December 2024. I went to meet the Secretary of State and NSA of the Biden Administration. Also to chair a gathering of our Consuls General. During my stay, the incoming NSA-designate met with me. At no stage was an invitation in respect of the PM discussed. It is common knowledge that our PM does not attend such events. In fact, India is generally represented by Special Envoys. Rahul Gandhi’s lies may be intended politically. But they damage the nation abroad.

Bihar Deserves Better! The BJP’s track record in Bihar is a textbook example of betrayal through election-time promises that remain unfulfilled. For over a decade, the Modi government has made grand announcements, only to abandon them once the elections are over. - Reviving Sugar Mills: In 2014, Narendra Modi promised to revive Bihar’s closed sugar mills, including Motihari Sugar Mill. A decade later, they remain shut, leaving over 300 workers without salaries or pensions and crippling the local economy. - Bhagalpur’s Central University: Announced in 2015 as part of a ₹1.25 lakh crore package, the proposed Central University in Bhagalpur was supposed to revive Vikramshila Mahavihara’s legacy. Despite the Bihar government providing land, the project is stuck in limbo, awaiting central approval. - Special Category Status: Modi promised Bihar Special Category Status (SCS) in 2015, which would have ensured better financial assistance. Instead, Bihar was handed a “special package” that failed to match the benefits of SCS. The promise was nothing but a diversion tactic. - AIIMS Darbhanga: Modi promised AIIMS Darbhanga in 2015, yet the foundation stone was laid only in 2024. Nearly a decade of delays has deprived Bihar of critical healthcare infrastructure. - Namami Gange: Launched in 2014, the program was supposed to clean the Ganga. Instead, delays, incomplete sewage treatment plants, and rising pollution levels prove it to be another failed initiative. - Bihta & Purnia Airports: Bihar’s promised airport expansions remain a mirage. Despite Bihta Airport’s 2015 initiation, it remains non-operational, forcing people to rely on an overcrowded Patna Airport. Similarly, Purnia’s promised commercial airport remains a military facility, with frustrated citizens launching protests. - Patna University’s Central Status: Modi personally promised to upgrade Patna University to a central university in 2014. Later, the central government refused, citing a change in policy—another blatant U-turn. - 19 Lakh Jobs: Ahead of the 2020 Bihar elections, the BJP promised 19 lakh jobs. Today, unemployment in Bihar remains among the highest in India, proving that the promise was just another election gimmick. Bihar has been fed nothing but *jumlas* and empty rhetoric. Every election, BJP returns with the same unfulfilled promises, hoping people will forget. But the people of Bihar deserve accountability, not deception. #UnionBudget2025 #Budget2025
