I don't think casual audiences would rather see that. I simply think they didn't want a solo movie of Black Adam that wasn't warranted. He's not a character that can carry a movie. He's linked to Shazam and only works as such.

But he's not doing it for good reasons. He's not turning over a new leaf. he's a bad guy who is asking for help taking down the more powerful bad guy. But he wouldn't turn good like Piccolo from dragon ball, he'd just be as bad as he always was but w/o Palpatine in his way.

Why? What was wrong with it? In Infinity War, Thanos and his army killed all those characters. In Endgame, the ones who died did so of their own volition. They chose to die to complete their mission.

Joker's Millions is also a hoot. A bad guy's plot is to give The Joker money which he knew he'd spend w/o realizing the IRS would come after him for inheritance tax.
Also, Joker's Favor is genuinely creepy. Imagine getting pissed at getting cut off in traffic and it's The Joker
